Nodaleto
The heel does the talking at Nodaleto. The French label, with its shoes made in Italy, builds around a sculpted block — squared off, flared or curved away at the back, exaggerated enough to register as a design decision rather than simply a height. The rest of the shoe is drawn to match it: squared toes, generous lasts, uppers kept clean so nothing competes with the shape underneath.
That single idea travels a long way. The Bulla line runs it through Mary Jane pumps with doubled straps, flats, lace-ups and clogs in both flat and wedge form; the Dona shapes take a slimmer, lower reading of the same geometry across thong sandals, mules and fine-strapped sandals. Materials carry as much of the character as the shape does: glossed patent, nappa, suede and satin, with raffia and crochet appearing in the warm-weather collections. Many model names end in a number, which is the heel height in millimetres.
