Men's Scarves

Length and weight decide how a scarf can be tied. A long rectangle near 180 centimetres takes a full drape or a doubled loop with the ends still hanging, while shorter cuts sit closer to the neck and leave less length to play with. Fine weaves slip inside a jacket without bulk at the neck; heavy knits fill an open collar and go over a coat, where the loft is the whole point.

Weave and fibre carry the rest. Ribbed and cable knits stretch and hold air, brushed twills and woven wools hang straight, and flat-woven silk stays cool against the skin. Cashmere and cashmere blends run warmest for their weight, lambswool and merino take daily wear better, and wool-silk mixes split the difference. Detail is the last decision: fringed or blanket-stitched ends, a jacquard logo or a monogram, a check or a stripe.

Men's Scarves

How long should a men's scarf be?

Around 180 cm suits most men, and at that length a doubled loop still leaves the ends hanging. A rough check is your own height: a scarf close to that will drape, loop or knot without running short. Shorter cuts of 140 to 160 cm sit closer to the neck, with less left over once it is wrapped. Width matters too, with about 30 cm and up filling an open collar and 20 to 25 cm staying neat under a jacket.

How do you wash a cashmere scarf at home?

Wash it every three or four wears — cashmere needs it far less often than most knitwear. Hand wash in lukewarm water, no warmer than about 30°C, using a wool detergent or a mild baby shampoo. Squeeze the suds through the fabric rather than rubbing, wringing or stretching it, then rinse at the same temperature. Roll it in a towel to press the water out, then dry flat and away from a radiator. Lift pilling with a knitwear comb, never a razor.

Are DIHSAN's scarves authentic?

Yes. Every piece DIHSAN sells is the brand's own — genuine designer product, with the maker's hardware, stamping and markings intact. Nothing is a reproduction or a licensed imitation.

Will I be charged duties on a DIHSAN scarf order?

No. Duties are included on every DIHSAN order, and US orders include taxes as well.

Can I return a scarf purchase at DIHSAN?

Yes. Eligible scarves can go back within 14 days of the ship date, for store credit rather than cash, and shipping charges are non-refundable. Items discounted 70% or more — plus swimwear, intimates, and limited-release styles at any discount — are final sale.
