Variations come down to how much shape the bag keeps and how it fastens: soft unlined styles that slump, firmer leathers that stand on their own, flap-over fronts on a magnetic snap or turn-lock, and zip-top rounded bodies. Sizes go from micro versions on a fine strap to roomy day shapes, some with a removable inner pouch. Pebbled and smooth calfskin, suede, coated canvas and woven textures pair with metal eyelets and contrast linings.
