How do you store a leather clutch so it keeps its shape?

Empty it, then lay it flat or stand it upright with the opening closed and something soft inside, such as tissue paper or a folded cloth, so the panels hold their line instead of collapsing. Keep it in a dust bag away from direct sunlight, which fades dye, and away from radiators, which dry leather out. Do not stack anything heavy on top, since a flat clutch takes a crease easily and rarely loses it.
