A dress you can cycle in is a different design problem from a dress you can only sit in, and Copenhagen has produced a label that solves for the first. Ganni's womenswear is built on ease — wrap and tie waists in place of darted ones, sleeves with room to move, hems at mini, midi and maxi — then decorated hard, with leopard and floral prints, frilled collars and ruffled edges doing the work that tailoring usually does.

Blouses and dresses sit at the centre of it, with knitwear and separates cut on the same generous line so a whole outfit can come from one place. Nothing here waits for an occasion — the same printed dress carries a working day or an evening depending only on what goes over it. That range is why the pieces tend to stay in rotation long after the season they arrived in.
