Women's Shoulder Bags
A short strap changes the geometry. The bag has to sit under the arm rather than swing beside the hip, so these shapes are cut to tuck: slim baguettes and narrow underarm bodies, crescent and half-moon curves that follow the ribcage, and softly slouched hobos that flatten against the side once the strap takes their weight.
Closures and straps do the rest. Chain-and-leather straps can be doubled to shorten or dropped to a single length for crossbody; buckle sliders give a few centimetres either way; top handles let the same bag be carried down at the side. Flaps close on a turn-lock or magnetic snap, drawstrings gather a hobo mouth, and zips run the full top edge. Lambskin, pebbled calf, suede, patent and coated canvas carry quilting, topstitching and hardware in gold or silver tone.
