MEN'S AND WOMEN'S
Moschino
The joke only lands if the tailoring is serious, and that tension is the whole idea. This Milanese house built its reputation on treating fashion's own conventions as raw material: a slogan printed where a logo should sit, a classic jacket rendered in a print that undercuts it, motifs borrowed from cartoons and pinned onto properly cut clothes. Irony sits on top, and construction holds it up.
The recurring vocabulary is instantly legible, running to teddy bears, hearts, peace symbols and oversized wordmarks, deployed across knitwear, dresses and outerwear alike. Accessories take the same approach, with bags shaped or printed to make a point and gold hardware used without apology. Alongside all of it runs a quieter seam of plain black tailoring, where the craft shows most clearly.
