MEN'S AND WOMEN'S
Mackage
A Montreal winter is an unforgiving brief, and it shows in everything Mackage puts its name to. The Canadian house builds outerwear that has to survive real cold without looking like equipment; down is engineered for warmth, then wrapped in a silhouette cut close to the body. Leather and wool meet inside the same garment more often than not, a sleeve in one and a body in the other, and that combination is the one the label made its own.
The signature collar reads first, high and sculptural, holding a parka's shape long after the hood comes down. Beneath it the range runs through down coats and tailored wool overcoats, leather jackets and bombers, with knitwear and leather accessories carrying the same restraint. Hardware is deliberate; proportion does the talking.
