Let it dry on its own, away from heat, and never in front of a radiator — heat is what stiffens leather and mats a suede nap, not water. Once dry, lift the nap with a suede brush, working in one direction. Salt marks come off with a cloth barely dampened in a weak vinegar solution, dabbed rather than rubbed, then brushed out again when the leather is completely dry.
