Women's Jackets

Structure is the first thing to settle: whether a jacket holds a shape or keeps out weather. Blazers sit at the tailored end, cut with lapels, a set shoulder and a single or double-breasted front, boxy and long or nipped in at the waist. Cropped jackets stop at or above the natural waist and change the proportions of everything worn beneath, while leather and biker styles find the same firmness in the hide itself.

Everything else is dressed for the weather. Puffer jackets trap loft between quilted baffles, down and shell styles pair that fill with a treated outer face, and windbreakers strip the warmth away to leave something light enough to fold into a bag. Bombers and track jackets rib the collar, cuff and hem; denim and utility jackets work through cloth and pocket instead. Wool, nylon ripstop, lambskin and cotton twill do the rest.

Women's Jackets

How should a blazer fit through the shoulder?

Start at the shoulder, because it is the one part a tailor cannot easily change. The seam should sit where your shoulder actually ends; if it hangs past that point the whole jacket will look borrowed. With the blazer fastened, you should be able to slide a flat hand between the front and your body without strain. Sleeve length and waist suppression are straightforward alterations, so buy for the shoulder and adjust the rest.

What is the difference between a moto jacket and a classic biker jacket?

A classic biker, the double-rider shape, has an asymmetric zip set well off to one side, a wide notched lapel that folds back, a belted waist and zipped chest pockets. A moto jacket is the softer descendant: a centred or slightly offset zip, a smaller stand collar, quilted or ribbed panels at the shoulder and elbow, and a shorter, closer body. Moto styles usually use lighter, more supple leather than a true biker.

Are DIHSAN's jackets authentic?

Yes. Every piece DIHSAN sells is the brand's own — genuine designer product, with the maker's hardware, stamping and markings intact. Nothing is a reproduction or a licensed imitation.

Will I be charged duties on a DIHSAN jacket order?

No. Duties are included on every DIHSAN order, and US orders include taxes as well.

Can I return a jacket purchase at DIHSAN?

Yes. Eligible jackets can go back within 14 days of the ship date, for store credit, and shipping charges are non-refundable. Items discounted 70% or more — plus swimwear, intimates, and limited-release styles at any discount — are final sale.
