Marine Serre

Two ideas run in parallel and the wardrobe sits between them. One is the second skin: moon-printed stretch jersey cut close to the body as leggings, catsuits, long-sleeve tops and dresses, engineered like sportswear and worn as anything but. The other is reassembly — garments built from existing cloth taken apart and rejoined, where the seams are the design rather than a means to it.

Between the two sit the pieces that hold an outfit together: tailoring with a crescent worked in somewhere, knitwear, outerwear cut with a hard shoulder, and bags and scarves that carry the motif at its smallest and most legible. The palette leans black, cream and tan, with the print doing the disruption. Little of it is quiet. Almost none of it is loud for the sake of being loud.

How should I wash moon-print jersey?

Treat it as a delicate stretch knit. A cold, gentle machine cycle or a hand wash with mild detergent is safest, and fabric softener is best skipped because it coats elastane and reduces recovery. Heat is the real enemy: do not tumble dry, do not iron the print directly, and do not dry clean unless the sewn-in label calls for it. Reshape while damp and dry flat, away from direct sun.

Where does the crescent moon appear besides the jersey?

It turns up at almost every scale. On knitwear it can be knitted in rather than printed on; on outerwear and tailoring it often sits as a single embossed or embroidered crescent rather than a repeat; on scarves and bags it can be either a dense all-over field or one small mark at the hardware. Footwear and small accessories usually take the minimal version. It works as a house signature, not a fixed logo.

Are DIHSAN's Marine Serre pieces authentic?

Yes. Every piece DIHSAN sells is the brand's own — genuine designer product, with the maker's hardware, stamping and markings intact. Nothing is a reproduction or a licensed imitation.

Will I be charged duties on a DIHSAN Marine Serre piece order?
