WOMEN'S
Kenzo
Print sets the terms in Kenzo womenswear, and the rest of the garment is built to let it read. Florals arrive at full scale across dresses and shirting; the tiger works small and dense at the chest of a sweatshirt; colours and patterns run together where a quieter label would separate them. The house's Paris address and Japanese origins are both legible in the result.
Sweatshirts, tees and knits carry the graphics at their most direct. Dresses, blouses and skirts take the florals across the whole surface, and outerwear tends to be where the boldest colour lands. Accessories work differently: a sneaker or a slide reduces a motif to a single stamped element, while a bag might state it once, in embroidery or a small metal detail. The silhouettes stay uncomplicated, so a full-scale floral reads as the whole look rather than one element of it.
