Danish dressing is usually described as restrained, and this is the counter-argument. The womenswear is built for being seen in — a coat that reads from across a street, a dress with sequins or print doing the talking, leather cut as trousers and corsetry rather than kept for outerwear alone. The restraint shows up in the cutting instead: clean shoulders, defined waists, nothing fussy.

Outerwear anchors it. Shearling-trimmed leather coats belt at the waist and flare below, trench and puffer shapes cover the same ground in different weights, and lighter jackets take the shoulder seasons. Underneath, midi lace, poplin and jersey blouses, slip and mini dresses and strapless tops carry the evening end. Recurring style names — Foxy, Vision, Saya — make a shape easy to find again once it has worked.
