Compare the shoulder and chest measurements on the listing against a coat you already own rather than sizing by feel.

What is the difference between shearling and a shearling trim?

A full shearling garment is a single sheepskin worn with the wool turned inward, so the skin forms the outer face and the fleece becomes the lining. A shearling trim uses the same material only at the edges — collar, cuffs, occasionally the front placket — over a leather or wool body. The trimmed version is lighter and less bulky through the body, and it is the more common construction across this label's coats.
