Women's Hoodies

Fabric weight decides what a hoodie is for. A light loopback jersey layers under a coat without adding bulk; a heavier brushed fleece has the body to stand on its own in cold weather. Pullover styles keep an unbroken front, usually over a kangaroo pocket, while zip-through styles open flat and work as a mid-layer over anything. Length and volume do the rest: cropped cuts finish at the natural waist, oversized cuts add room through the shoulder and sleeve, and longline shapes drop past the hip.

The hood varies as much as the body it sits on. Two-panel hoods lie close to the head, three-panel hoods hold more structure, and drawcords come flat, round or tipped — or are left off altogether. Detail runs from plain and unbranded to embroidered logos and printed graphics. Ribbed cuffs and hems in a heavier gauge finish the shape and hold it through repeated washing.
