Men's Sweatpants & Joggers
What happens at the ankle separates the two. Joggers gather into a ribbed or elasticated cuff that lifts the hem clear of the shoe and holds a tapered line; open-hem sweatpants fall straight and finish flat, closer to a trouser. Between them sit tie-hem and zip-cuff versions that let the same pair do either.
Fabric weight sets the rest. Lightweight jersey and loopback cotton around 250 gsm suit warm rooms, while brushed fleece and heavyweight terry from roughly 350 gsm upward hold both their shape and their heat. Waistbands are elasticated, usually with a drawcord through them, and the more structured cuts add belt loops. The detail sits in side stripes, zip pockets, panelled seams, garment dye and tonal logo work, mostly on cotton-rich blends with a little elastane for recovery.
