Colmar builds insulated outerwear around movement first, with articulated sleeves, an easy shoulder, and hems and cuffs that seal without gripping, so a piece cut for a slope is equally at home on a cold platform at seven in the morning.

The range runs from technical ski shells and ski trousers through down jackets, quilted bombers and lighter gilets. Insulation is zoned rather than spread evenly, seams are taped where weather gets in, and hoods are cut to clear a helmet or a raised collar.
