Men's Suits

Cloth, cut and shoulder do the work in tailoring. Two-piece and three-piece suits run single-breasted and double-breasted, with notch lapels for the working week and peak lapels, shawl collars and tuxedos for black tie. Slim and tailored fits hold a clean line through the chest, while unstructured, soft-shouldered jackets sit closer to a shirt than to armour. Cloth moves from worsted wool and herringbone through cashmere and cotton-cashmere to open-weave linen for summer. Pinstripe and windowpane check carry pattern where solid navy, charcoal and black carry none. Flat-front trousers, side-adjuster waistbands and double side vents are the details that decide how a suit behaves once it is on the body.

Men's Suits

How should a suit jacket fit?

Start at the shoulder, because the seam should end where your shoulder does and it is the one thing tailoring cannot move. The jacket should close without strain and without an X-crease pulling at the button, show about half an inch of shirt cuff below the sleeve, and run long enough to cover the seat. Chest and shoulder decide which size you buy; waist suppression, sleeve length and hem are all a tailor's work afterwards, and inexpensive work at that.

What separates a two-piece suit from a three-piece?

A two-piece is a matching jacket and trousers. A three-piece adds a waistcoat cut from the same cloth, which changes both the formality and how the suit behaves with the jacket off, since the waistcoat keeps the shirt covered and the line unbroken. Three-piece suits sit well at weddings, evening events and through cooler months. A two-piece is the more versatile buy and splits more easily, because the jacket can be worn as a blazer over odd trousers.

Are DIHSAN's suits authentic?

Yes. Every piece DIHSAN sells is the brand's own — genuine designer product, with the maker's hardware, stamping and markings intact. Nothing is a reproduction or a licensed imitation.

Will I be charged duties on a DIHSAN suit order?

No. Duties are included on every DIHSAN order, and US orders include taxes as well.

Can I return a suit purchase at DIHSAN?

Yes. Eligible suits can go back within 14 days of the ship date, for store credit rather than cash, and shipping charges are non-refundable. Items discounted 70% or more — plus swimwear, intimates, and limited-release styles at any discount — are final sale.
