Women's Bootcut Pants

Everything about a bootcut is set at the knee. The leg runs close through the thigh, then opens from the knee down — enough to clear a boot shaft, never enough to read as a flare, which in practice means a hem only a few inches wider around than the knee. Rise decides the rest: a high rise lengthens the line from waist to knee and holds the waist steady, while a mid rise sits on the hip and reads more relaxed.

Denim leads, in rigid weaves that keep their shape and stretch blends that give at the seat and recover. Tailored bootcuts in wool and crepe carry the flare on a pressed crease; ponte and knit versions do the same without the structure. Finishes run from dark raw indigo through washed mid-blues to black, ivory and quieter neutrals, with hems left plain, released or frayed.
