Women's Puffer Vests
Two things set a puffer vest apart: what is inside it, and how that filling is held in place. Down lofts higher and packs down smaller for the warmth it gives, while synthetic fill keeps working when damp and washes more easily. The stitching that traps it matters just as much, since narrow channel quilting keeps a slim line, wide baffles and box construction let the fill expand for real cold, and sewn-through seams sit flatter.
Cuts run cropped, hip-length and longline, with close-fitting shapes made to sit under a coat and oversized ones worn over everything. Collars stand high or fold; hems draw in on a cord. Shells come in ripstop nylon, recycled polyester and coated technical fabrics that shed light rain, finished matte, glossy or metallic. Fronts close on a two-way zip or a snap placket, and hand pockets zip shut.
