Men's Tank Tops
Everything about a tank is decided at the armhole. A standard cut keeps the opening close to the underarm and leaves enough shoulder covered to wear on its own. A dropped or deep-cut armhole opens the side of the chest and reads athletic, while a racerback narrows the straps and pulls them in toward the spine. Body length and hem shape then set the balance: cropped, straight, or long and curved to stay tucked.
Ribbed cotton is the classic — elastic across the chest and quick to recover after a wash. Smooth jersey lies flatter and drapes closer, while a waffle knit breaks up the surface. Merino runs fine enough to wear as a base layer and manages sweat without holding odour, linen sits loose and cool, and technical knits with a little elastane keep their shape through movement. Bound rather than hemmed edges stop the armholes curling.
