Men's Dress Shirts

Formality on a dress shirt is set at the collar and the cuff before the cloth gets a say. Point and semi-spread collars sit close and narrow the frame, full spread and cutaway shapes open wide enough to carry a thick knot, and button-down or club collars pull the whole thing down a register. Cuffs answer in kind, from a single barrel with one or two buttons to a French cuff folded back for links.

Fit runs from a close slim cut through tailored to a fuller classic block with side pleats and a longer tail. Poplin weaves smooth and crisp with a faint sheen, twill drapes heavier and resists creasing, royal oxford adds texture without bulk, and end-on-end breaks the colour up close. Mother-of-pearl buttons, single-needle side seams and a split yoke mark careful construction. Cotton does most of the work here, with linen and stretch blends where movement matters.

Men's Dress Shirts

What does a dress shirt size like 15.5 / 34-35 mean?

The first number is your collar size in inches, and it is the finished measurement of the collar itself, so a 15.5 suits a neck of about 15 inches and leaves roughly a finger's room inside the band. The second is sleeve length, measured from the centre back of the collar over the shoulder to the cuff; 34-35 covers both lengths so one shirt fits a range. European labels give a single number in centimetres for the collar only: a 15.5 is a 39 or 40, a 16 is a 41, and sleeve length is fixed by the maker.

What is the difference between a spread, semi-spread and point collar?

The difference is the angle between the collar points. A point collar sits narrow, roughly 60 degrees or less, and suits a slim knot; because it carries the eye downward it flatters a rounder or broader face. A semi-spread opens to around 80 to 90 degrees and takes almost any tie, which is why it is the safe default. A full spread or cutaway opens past 120 degrees, leaving room for a wide Windsor and adding width across a longer, narrower face, and it still looks deliberate worn open at the neck with no tie at all.

Are DIHSAN's dress shirts authentic?

Yes. Every piece DIHSAN sells is the brand's own — genuine designer product, with the maker's hardware, stamping and markings intact. Nothing is a reproduction or a licensed imitation.

Will I be charged duties on a DIHSAN dress shirt order?

No. Duties are included on every DIHSAN order, and US orders include taxes as well.

Can I return a dress shirt purchase at DIHSAN?

Yes. Eligible dress shirts can go back within 14 days of the ship date, for store credit rather than cash, and shipping charges are non-refundable. Items discounted 70% or more — plus swimwear, intimates, and limited-release styles at any discount — are final sale.
