Women's Belts

Width decides where a belt can sit before anything else does. A narrow strap of two or three centimetres threads through jean loops and disappears under a jacket. Mid-width styles hold their own over a dress or a coat, cinching a silhouette without dominating it. Wide corset and obi belts wrap the waist as a garment in their own right.

Buckles do the rest of the talking: pin buckles through punched holes, logo plaques, square and rectangular frames, and D-rings that fasten by threading the strap back through itself. Chain belts skip the buckle entirely, and some styles are reversible on a buckle that rotates so the strap can be flipped. Leather runs smooth, grained, patent and suede, alongside woven raffia and elastic stretch panels; the hardware itself comes polished, brushed or matte.

Women's Belts

What size belt should I buy for my waist?

For a belt worn through jean loops, add roughly two inches to your trouser waist and round up to the nearest even number, so a 30-inch waist takes a 32-inch belt. Measure an existing belt from the fold at the buckle to the hole you actually use, never tip to tip. For a belt worn high over a dress, measure your natural waist directly; for one worn low on the hip, measure at that point instead, since the two sit several inches apart on most people.

How do you add a hole to a leather belt?

A rotary leather punch is the right tool, fitted with a tube that matches the holes already in the belt — usually four to five millimetres. Line the new hole up with the existing spacing, about an inch apart, and punch from the front so the finished side stays clean. Do not use a nail or a drill bit; both tear the fibres and leave a hole that stretches into a slot. Most shoe repair shops will do it in minutes, and can trim and re-finish the tail if the belt is left too long.

Are DIHSAN's belts authentic?

Yes. Every piece DIHSAN sells is the brand's own — genuine designer product, with the maker's hardware, stamping and markings intact. Nothing is a reproduction or a licensed imitation.

Will I be charged duties on a DIHSAN belt order?

No. Duties are included on every DIHSAN order, and US orders include taxes as well.

Can I return a belt purchase at DIHSAN?

Yes. Eligible belts can go back within 14 days of the ship date, for store credit rather than cash, and shipping charges are non-refundable. Items discounted 70% or more — plus swimwear, intimates, and limited-release styles at any discount — are final sale.
