WOMEN'S

Women's Gloves & Mittens

Length and lining decide a glove before the leather does. Lambskin and nappa cut close to the hand open the women's range, with suede, deerskin and peccary giving more grain and more give, lined in cashmere, silk or shearling as the temperature drops. A short wrist glove, a gauntlet cuff worn over a coat sleeve, elbow-length and opera-length gloves measured in buttons all change the register entirely. Driving gloves keep their knuckle vents and open backs, fingerless styles leave the fingertips free, and touchscreen pairs carry conductive thread in thumb and index finger. Leather and shearling-lined mittens hold heat where gloves cannot, cable-knit, wool and cashmere mittens read softer, and convertible flip-top styles fold back on demand.

Frequently asked questions

All FAQ's

Women's Gloves & Mittens

How do you measure your hand for glove size?

Wrap a tape measure around your dominant hand at the widest point of the palm, just below the knuckles, with the thumb excluded. The measurement in inches is your glove size, so seven inches is a size 7. Half sizes exist because leather has almost no give across the palm: 6.5, 7 and 7.5 sit half an inch of circumference apart and the difference is felt immediately. If you fall between sizes, take the smaller one in leather and the larger one in knit.

Are mittens warmer than gloves?

Yes, at the same lining and weight. Mittens keep the fingers in one chamber, so they share heat and expose less surface area to the cold, while gloves separate each finger and lose warmth from all four. The trade is dexterity, which is why convertible flip-top styles exist: a mitten cap folded back off fingerless knit when you need to hold something. Through most of the year a cashmere- or silk-lined leather glove is warm enough, and mittens earn their place below freezing.

Are DIHSAN's gloves and mittens authentic?

Yes. Every piece DIHSAN sells is the brand's own — genuine designer product, with the maker's hardware, stamping and markings intact. Nothing is a reproduction or a licensed imitation.

Will I be charged duties on a DIHSAN glove order?

No. Duties are included on every DIHSAN order, and US orders include taxes as well.

Can I return a glove purchase at DIHSAN?

Yes. Eligible gloves and mittens can go back within 14 days of the ship date, for store credit rather than cash, and shipping charges are non-refundable. Items discounted 70% or more — plus swimwear, intimates, and limited-release styles at any discount — are final sale.
