Men's Low Top Sneakers
With the collar out of the equation, a low top lives or dies by its sole. Vulcanised soles bond a rubber wrap to a canvas or leather upper, staying thin, flexible and close to the ground. Cupsole constructions stitch the upper into a moulded rubber cup, adding height, structure and a firmer ride. Chunky moulded units stack foam and rubber for volume.
Court and tennis shapes keep a low profile and a plain toe; runner-derived silhouettes add mesh panels, moulded heel counters and layered overlays. Slip-ons drop the lacing entirely. Uppers split between the tactile — smooth calf leather, tumbled and grained finishes, suede — and the technical, in canvas, knit and engineered mesh. Perforated panels, contrast stitching and debossed detail carry the finishing work.
