Men's Shoes on Sale
Formality in a man's shoe is set at the lacing and the sole rather than the colour. Oxfords close with the facings stitched beneath the vamp for the cleanest possible line, derbies leave them open on top and take a higher instep, and monk straps drop the laces for a buckle. Loafers remove the fastening altogether, penny and tassel shapes reading traditional where horsebit and driving styles read a good deal easier.
Boots carry the same range upward, Chelsea shapes pulling on at elastic gussets while chukkas and lace-up boots cover the ankle properly. Sneakers and slides sit at the far end, built on rubber cupsoles and moulded footbeds. Calf leather, suede and grained hide dominate the uppers, finished on leather soles where a shoe is dressed and rubber or lugged units where grip and mileage decide it.
