The pleats stretch and recover, so one size accommodates a wider range of bodies than a woven equivalent would; the pieces are meant to sit away from the body rather than trace it. Because of that, the meaningful difference between sizes shows up more in length and in the drop from the shoulder than in width. If you are between sizes, choose by the garment length you want and by how loose you want the piece to read.

Fold along the pleat lines and store flat or rolled; the fabric is designed to be compressed and will not hold a crease against its own folds. For travel, roll each piece and pack it without a garment bag — it takes up very little room and needs nothing on arrival. Avoid hanging heavy pieces on a thin wire hanger for long periods, and keep them out of prolonged direct sun, which can dull strong colours.
