MEN'S

Blue Industry

A shirt worn open at the neck has to do more work than one held down by a tie, and that is the shirt Blue Industry keeps coming back to. Collars are cut to hold their shape unaided, fabrics are chosen so a long day does not show on them, and the result carries enough structure to look considered without ever reading formal.

Around the shirts sits a full wardrobe. Blazers come in woven cloth and in knit, cut soft with minimal padding through the shoulder; overshirts and chore shapes in plaid or brushed cotton work as a light jacket; turtlenecks, zip-front knits and hooded sweatshirts handle the layers underneath; and overcoats in microcheck wool take the outer layer. Trousers and polos round the whole thing out.

Blue Industry for Men

How do Blue Industry blazer sizes convert?

Blazers and coats use the European jacket scale, which runs roughly ten numbers above the American chest measurement. A EU 48 corresponds to about a US 38, EU 50 to a US 40, EU 52 to a US 42, EU 54 to a US 44 and EU 56 to a US 46. Because the shoulders are cut soft with little padding, the fit sits close, so measuring across the chest of a jacket that already fits is the safer check.

What is an overshirt, and when would you wear one?

An overshirt is cut like a shirt but built in heavier cloth — brushed cotton, wool blend or a plaid flannel — with a slightly roomier body so it can go over a t-shirt or fine knit. It buttons like a shirt and layers like a jacket, which makes it the natural mid-season choice: too warm for a coat, too cool for shirtsleeves. The chore-shirt version adds patch pockets at the front.

Are DIHSAN's Blue Industry pieces authentic?

Yes. Every piece DIHSAN sells is the brand's own — genuine designer product, with the maker's hardware, stamping and markings intact. Nothing is a reproduction or a licensed imitation.

Will I be charged duties on a DIHSAN Blue Industry piece order?

No. Duties are included on every DIHSAN order, and US orders include taxes as well.

Can I return a Blue Industry piece purchase at DIHSAN?

Yes. Eligible Blue Industry pieces can go back within 14 days of the ship date, for store credit rather than cash, and shipping charges are non-refundable. Items discounted 70% or more — plus swimwear, intimates, and limited-release styles at any discount — are final sale.
