Ready-to-wear is labelled on the Italian scale, so an IT 38 corresponds roughly to a US 2 and a UK 6, IT 40 to a US 4, and IT 42 to a US 6. Cuts vary considerably within the range, since a tailored jacket sits close while much of the knitwear and shirting is drawn deliberately oversized. For that reason the flat measurements printed on a product page tell you more than the size label alone.

What is the Elyse platform?

It is the house's signature shoe: a men's derby upper set on a raised platform built with a wooden wedge and a saw-edged microsole. The derby lacing keeps it looking tailored while the wedge adds height without a heel, which is why it turns up styled with suiting as readily as with a dress. Like everything else the house makes, it is constructed without leather.
