Nothing here is meant to sit in the background. The effect reads as ease, but construction is doing the work — internal structure, real weight in the cloth, and a hem set to hang at one exact length.

The handbags answer with the same logic. A large turn-lock bearing the T secures the front of the shoulder styles, in calf that runs from smooth to heavily grained, plus suede and embossed leathers; the metal is bright on some and taken down to a low shine on others. Those leather goods are made in Italy. Evening dressing, jackets and shirting follow the same rule — a narrow silhouette and one strong colour, doing the work a print would do elsewhere.
