Sizes follow the French scale, so a 36 is close to a UK 8 or a US 4 and each step up adds two. Much of the line is drafted deliberately loose, with dropped shoulders, wide sleeves and gathered waists, which means the label size tells you less than it usually would. Take your normal size for anything belted or smocked, and read the measurements before sizing up on an already oversized knit.

How do I stop a mohair or alpaca knit from shedding?

Some shedding is normal in a brushed yarn and it settles after the first few wears. You can speed that up by folding the jumper into a bag and leaving it in the freezer overnight, then shaking it out. After that, wash rarely and by hand in cool water, dry it flat, and store it folded rather than hung so the fibres are not stretched under their own weight.
