Jacquemus

Scale is the joke and the craft at once. Jacquemus made its name by shrinking a top-handle bag well past the point of usefulness, then built an entire design language out of that same instinct: hats widened past the shoulders, sleeves knotted and cropped, a jacket pared back until little but its outline is left standing.

The rest is southern French light, all bleached whites and terracotta, raffia and open weaves, linen allowed to crease the way linen does. Bags arrive in stepped sizes from the miniature upward, so one shape works as an ornament or as something you can genuinely carry. Shoes and accessories follow the same rule, a single clean idea taken to its edge.

How small is Le Chiquito, and is it usable?

The original is genuinely tiny: the handle hooks over a single finger and the interior holds little more than a card and a key. It was conceived as an ornament first. The house makes the same shape in a stepped range of larger sizes, so if the silhouette is what appeals rather than the spectacle, one of the bigger versions takes a phone and a wallet without complaint.

How does Jacquemus tailoring sit next to its knitwear?

They pull in opposite directions on purpose. Jackets tend to be shaped close through the shoulder with a shortened body, so the proportion is the design rather than a sizing mistake, while knits and shirting often run deliberately oversized. Because both extremes live in the same collection, the size that works in a tailored piece will not necessarily be the size that works in a knit.

Are DIHSAN's Jacquemus pieces authentic?

Yes. Every piece DIHSAN sells is the brand's own — genuine designer product, with the maker's hardware, stamping and markings intact. Nothing is a reproduction or a licensed imitation.
