Warmth is the easy part; the harder problem is a heavy coat that still holds a line. The Canadian label builds men's down outerwear for a season measured in months, and cuts it close through the chest and shoulder so the volume sits where it does some work rather than spreading sideways across the back.

Weight sorts the range. A quilted bomber is the light option, cropped at the hip and easy over knitwear; a parka runs long past the seat, hooded and densely filled for the coldest stretch of the year; down vests and mid-length quilts cover the shoulder seasons between them. Fur trim appears on some hoods and not on others, so the same silhouette can read very differently depending on which version you choose.
