Loewe

(Pronounced Lo-EE-vay) LVMH's oldest luxury fashion house, Loewe, is a high-end Spanish brand founded in 1846 by Spanish leather craftsmen, and originated into an official brand in 1876 by Enrique Loewe. Originally specializing in leather handbags and purses, Loewe flourished so much as to gain the interest of Spanish royalty, who became regular customers. LVMH purchased international distribution rights to Loewe in 1986, and fully acquired it in 1996. Today, Loewe offers a coveted line of ready-to-wear clothing, leather handbags, fragrances, jewelry, accessories, and watches, and is desired for its excellent craftmanship and its true to form Spanish heritage.
