It is the house emblem: four letter Ls rotated and interlaced into a single symmetrical mark. The design draws on the branding irons historically used to mark leather, which is why it reads as something stamped rather than printed. You will find it embossed into bag leather, cut through panels, jacquard-woven into canvas and knitwear, cast as hardware on shoes, and used as a repeat across small leather goods.

From flat geometry. The bag is built from a large number of separate leather panels seamed together so the finished form is a cuboid, with corners and edges deliberately exposed rather than concealed. Because the panels fold along their seams, it collapses close to flat for packing and reopens into its box shape. It is made in Spain, and the visible panel lines are the point of the design rather than a by-product.
